Dear “Rehab Lookers,”
I recently just had shoulder surgery and have had 3 leg surgeries in the past year and a half that prevented me from walking and doing daily activities. I was “wheelchair bound.” But now I am at the part in my recovery where I ok to put weight on my foot and get the rehab I need to walk again. I did my own research looking at different rehabs (while waiting on social worker to call me) that I was interested in… Well I really liked what I saw on there website and it was one of my top choices until…..I called and they trasnfered me to admissions and I was asking her to tell me a little about there facility. All she kept saying was Im looking for out patient no inpatient and what insurance do I have and so what. That this place wasn’t for me and telling me to look else where. She was so rude and I know what i’m looking for not her. I called to find out about availability on beds and to find out anymore information I can about rehab. She was very unwelcoming, and very opinionated when I didn’t even ask for her option…I ask for info. about rehab! If this is just a DISAPPOINTING phone call that completely changed my mind about receiving services from them. Thank You “Admissions girl” for saving me before I made a huge mistake!!! Good luck if you send a loved one here!!!
