Admissions at Foothills:
We understand the serious issues that individuals face as they grow older. Independence and dignity need to be supplemented with the care, companionship and the safety that Foothills Rehab Center can provide.
In most cases the stay at a Rehab Center is not planned and more of an urgent situation. Foothills Rehab is available 24/7 days a week to assist Families and Potential Residents with all the information needed to make the Experience a pleasant one.
Are there Activities?
There are many different activities that are held throughout each day. A monthly calendar is posted in each Resident Room, as well as in our Common Areas.
Will I have a Television in my Room?
For our Short term Residents we have Flat Screens in the rooms. Long Term Care Residents may bring their own.
How often will my loved one receive therapy Services?
Once a Resident is admitted to the facility they will be evaluated by the therapy team. The evaluation and what their insurance allows, will determine how often the Resident will Receive Therapy. Foothills Therapy Team Does Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy 6 days a Week.
What type of clothing should I bring?
We recommend approximately enough clothes for between 5-7 days. It is recommended that you label all of your belongings, or give them to the nurses station so we may have them labeled and added to the inventory.
Is it okay for a pet to Visit?
We encourage pets to visit as they are also therapeutic to our residents. They are considered part of the family. All pets need to be current with all vaccinations and on a leash, and on the outside patio. Not on any units or in any Resident Rooms.
Are there set Visiting Hours?
Family and loved ones are welcome to visit, we would recommend visiting from 8am to 8pm. Before and after those hours we do lock our doors since many resident are resting or sleeping.
